Selva Capuzza is the name of a small country village situated 6 km south of Garda lake, on the slopes of San Martino della Battaglia, at a variable altitude of between 90-125 mt and it’s this elevated position that gives the village its name (Capuzza means “little head”). The wines produced in this unique location represent the quality edge of the Family's range, expressing the tradition of this land and the identity of the typical grapes which are grown with great care. The cultivation of the vines is entirely dedicated to native varieties of ancient traditions, for example the Trebbiano di Lugana, which is part of the Verdicchio family, a local variety. The Colli a Lago Cellar has had main role in some important wine making moments in

the area: development of fine spumanti made from Lugana grapes, the trust given to the production of a pure Lugana and the re-discovery of the Doc San Martino della Battaglia, through studies and careful selection and cloning of the vines.  Apart from being home to the wine cellar Colli A Lago, the estate includes the Capuzza Restaurant and the Hamlet San Donino.
All the activities and the services offered by Selva Capuzza have a strong connection, and the balance between the cultivation of the land, the production of the wine and the offering of special products in typical places, creates an incredible experience where all the senses are involved.
